On Thursday 2<sup>nd<\/sup> there is a Rock &amp; Fossil Hunt, where rangers and experts will help you hunt for your own fossil. After an introduction you&#8217;ll head out to begin searching, and then at the end you can have a look at what you&#8217;ve found under a microscope. Booking is required on 01746 781192, and costs \u00a34 per child, who must be accompanied by an adult. Details of their other events are below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/July-Sept-18-Leaflet-1.pdf\">July &#8211; Sept 18 Leaflet (1)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are also free crafty family events at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.worcestercathedral.co.uk\">Worcester Cathedral<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.forestry.gov.uk\/wyreforest\">Wyre Forest<\/a>. Fill your boots with an explosion of crafts, fossils and rocks. You can delve into the deep blue sea and create your own ancient fossilised sea bed or stencil away and let your imagination shine. Create your own masterpiece with pebble and fossil painting to take home or join the &#8216;love on the rocks&#8217; craze and share your artwork with strangers. It is at Worcester Cathedral Thursdays 16<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 23<sup>rd<\/sup> August 10:30-12:30 and 2:00-4:00pm. It is at Wyre Forest 21<sup>st<\/sup> August 11am-3pm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-5236\" src=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"636\" srcset=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on.jpg 679w, http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on-212x300.jpg 212w, http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on-106x150.jpg 106w, http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/Cathedral-whats-on-400x566.jpg 400w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Worcester Cathedral has many other activities too and you can go along on 14<sup>th<\/sup>, 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 17<sup>th<\/sup>, 21<sup>st<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup> August to join in.<\/p>\n<p>The Ice Age exhibitions in The Hive and Worcester Art Gallery &amp; Museum continue until early September. See a giant model of a mammoth, go inside an Ice Age Shelter and see real mammoth bones. There are a range of events to accompany this. There&#8217;s a drop in prehistoric pottery session at Worcester Museum on 2<sup>nd<\/sup> August 11am-3pm (\u00a33), and a cave art day a week later. Technology of the Ice Age come to The Hive on Monday 20<sup>th<\/sup> August 1-4pm, including flint knapping demonstrations.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Millicent-The-Hive-01.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5200\" src=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Millicent-The-Hive-01.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"149\" height=\"193\" srcset=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Millicent-The-Hive-01.png 149w, http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/Millicent-The-Hive-01-116x150.png 116w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 149px) 100vw, 149px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bewdleymuseum.co.uk\">Bewdley Museum<\/a> has craft events each weekday 11am-3:30pm. Entry to the museum is free, with activities \u00a34 per child. This week the theme is the seaside, and next week it will be nature, starting with fossils on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cobhouse.org\">Cob House Country park<\/a> is open every day to visit, and they have guests visiting over the summer. Worcestershire Wildlife Trust are there 1<sup>st<\/sup> &amp; 2<sup>nd<\/sup> August, with Paint a Pot on the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and Bear Club on the 7<sup>th<\/sup>.
