{"id":6119,"date":"2022-09-05T14:46:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-05T14:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/?p=6119"},"modified":"2023-06-13T07:29:08","modified_gmt":"2023-06-13T07:29:08","slug":"autumn-in-the-geopark","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2022\/09\/autumn-in-the-geopark\/","title":{"rendered":"Autumn in the Geopark"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Now that autumn is nearly with us, why not try one of our geology and landscape trails.<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/d\/embed?mid=zwOtyHkdH4Dk.k3H-MUUHuSKI\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have the <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2022\/04\/cappuccino-and-geology-trail-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cappuccino geology trail <\/a>programme at visitor centres in the Geopark &#8211; Severn Valley Railway King and Castle and cafe at Kidderminster, <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2019\/10\/severn-valley-country-park-a-new-visitor-centre-and-cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Severn Valley Country Park<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2015\/10\/bewdley-museum-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bewdley Museum<\/a>, Cob House Countryside Park near Martley, <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2017\/04\/malvern-hills-geocentre-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Malvern Hills GeoCentre<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/2015\/10\/worcester-cathedral-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Worcester Cathedral<\/a>, and National Trust at Dudmaston<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We also have geology trails with <strong>free trail leaflets<\/strong> at Wyre Forest, National Trust at Dudmaston, Bewdley Museum and Severn Valley Railway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There is a <strong>new geology trail booklet<\/strong> &#8211; the Les Morris Memorial Trail &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/geopark.org.uk\/pub\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/Les-Morris-Trail-final-draft-v1.pdf\">free to download <\/a> from the Geopark website. This is a driving trail across the whole of the Geopark which can be completed in small stages if desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many other walking geology trails exist and the trail leaflets can be obtained from many different outlets including free downloads from the website.
