For the first 8 years of her career she taught Geography and Geology to \u2018A\u2019 level in secondary school 6<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0forms. Now retired, Georgia still has a keen interest in these subjects. She is a member and registered speaker on Recreational Geology and Textile Art\u00a0for the\u00a0Worcestershire Federation of Womens&#8217; Institutes\u00a0\u00a0and \u00a0also belongs to\u00a0The Earth Heritage Trust\u00a0as a volunteer.<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><strong>Professional Qualifications<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Cert.Ed., B.Ed (Hons), B.A, M.Ed.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">City &amp; Guilds Levels 2 &amp; 3 Certificates and a Level 3 Diploma in Machine Embroidery,\u00a0and also a Level 2 Certificate in Silk Painting which she has achieved as an adult part-time student at\u00a0<em>Inkberrow Design Centre<\/em>. Level 3 Certificate in Advanced Textile Decoration.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\">Georgia now belongs to a group of past students of the design centre, called\u00a0<strong><em>Textile Strata,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0which meets monthly at Hopwood near Redditch for exchanging ideas and textile techniques.
