In addition to the above the Cob House offers:

Work experience placements to many students free of charge but in some cases charges will apply

For educational establishments that have 6th form students, for example, that feel they may benefit from a ‘half way house’ to help with the transition between school and entering the world of employment, the Cob House can offer and guide them through an introductory programme to allow them to experience vital life skills working in departments around the site.

At Cob House they have various construction opportunities around the site and a programme of continuous tree planting (you can never have enough trees!). If you are interested in taking advantage of some of these activities, please call Cob House and they will be pleased to help. It’s a great pursuit for children and young people who may be considering careers in woodland management or arboriculture.
