These ranger-led events are a super fun way to get kids exploring. Have a dig on our old coal spoil and see if you can find fossils from 320 million years ago! There is so much to discover!

Pond Dipping. These ranger-led events are a super fun way to get kids exploring wildlife. Join in for a pond dip from our dipping platform at Elfin Pool. See if you can catch a slippery fish, a massive diving beetle or a dancing pond skater!

River Severn walk. At the banks of the River Severn, along the southern tip of the Dudmaston Estate sits Hampton Loade. Starting and finishing from Hampton Loade car park, join this self-guided 7km walk along the river towards Severn Valley Country Park and back.

Bushcraft. Join that ranger in Hall Close Coppice and help build an outdoor shelter. See how to make a fire and then toast some marshmallows and enjoy some hot chocolate around the camp fire!

The displays will celebrate the Geopark and will include organisations such as Alveley Historical Society, West Midlands Regional Group of the Geological Society, Geologists in the Geopark and Bewdley School Discovery Society.

Iron Age Dinedor. Starting at the Wye Inn, Holme Lacy Road, a gentle wander through country lanes and paths to Dinedor Ridge seeing the site of Rotherwas Ribbon Neolithic way. Then along to Dinedor Camp iron age hillfort and back down through fields and lanes to the finish point for a drink and snack in the Wye Inn.
